Contests on JustWoow add an extra layer of competition and reward. Here's how they work and how you can take part.
Every contest is tied to one specific quiz. When the contest is open, you play that quiz as usual. Your score and performance during the contest period are what count. The contest has a start date and an end date, so you need to play within that window to appear on the contest leaderboard.
The contest leaderboard is separate from the main platform leaderboard. It shows only players who played the linked quiz during the contest period, ranked by their performance. At the end of the contest, the top performers share the prize pool. Prizes are paid in coins, which you can use to play more quizzes or enter other contests.
To do well in a contest, practice the quiz if it's available before the contest starts. Many quizzes can be played anytime, so you can get familiar with the questions and the time limit. When the contest opens, play early and try to improve. Some contests may allow multiple attempts, so check the contest rules.
Contests are a great way to test yourself against others and earn extra coins. Even if you don't finish at the very top, playing during the contest still gives you the normal coin reward for the quiz. So there's no downside to joining: you earn coins either way and have a chance at the prize pool.
